Sally Pipes

Sally Pipes

Sally Pipes has been the President and CEO of the Pacific Research Institute since 1991. Prior to becoming president of PRI, she was Assistant Director of the Fraser Institute, a think tank in Canada. Ms. Pipes is a prominent figure in the media. She regularly addresses national and international audiences on health care issues, is interviewed on TV and radio shows, debating renowned figures, pens newspaper articles, and writes the bi-weekly health care column 鈥淧iping Up鈥 for Forbes.com, a bi-weekly blog post for the Washington Examiner, and a weekly column for Fox News. She has written several books, including False Premise, False Promise: The Disastrous Reality of Medicare for All (Encounter, January 2020), The False Promise of Single-Payer Health Care (Encounter, March 2018), The Way Out of Obamacare (Encounter), The Cure for Obamacare (Encounter), The Pipes Plan (Regnery), The Truth 69堂精品 Obamacare (Regnery), Miracle Cure: How to Solve America鈥檚 Health-Care Crisis and Why Canada Isn鈥檛 the Answer and The Top Ten Myths of American Health Care. Ms. Pipes has received numerous awards, including her appointment as the Thomas W. Smith Fellow in Health Care Policy at PRI, honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Pepperdine University for her work in health care, 鈥淭he Beacon of Light鈥 Americanism Award for health care work, Taube Fellow in Health Care Studies in 2010, the Roe Award from State Policy Network in 2004, and the 3rd Annual Women Achievers鈥 Award. She was a judge in President Bush鈥檚 Washington Fellows program (2005-2008).
